great parks and landmarks within walking distance

I recently stayed for two nights in a King Studio with Sofa Bed, and I was impressed with how close I was to amazing parks like Lafreniere Park, just under 5 km away, and to attractions such as the vibrant Audubon Zoo, which is only a bit less than 7 km from my hotel. both places made my city strolls so enjoyable! The hotel was also comfortable, making it a great choice for a couple's getaway to explore all that the area has to offer, but I did experience a frustrating check-in process with unexpected holds on my account that I wasn't informed about.

This was just a suitable option for a quick weekend visit in Elmwood with decent value for money. The staff found us a great room near the outside door, making it easy for our dog to get out. If you’re traveling with pets, ask for a room on the first floor.

The staff were super accommodating, making my daughter's 10th bday a hit. They even let us use the lobby when the rain hit. Only bummer was the fridge didn't have a bin for the ice maker. Loved the picnic area for some fresh air, though!
